Lodge #2887 offers its members a full calendar of activities rooted in the Elks' national mission: charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity. Regular lodge meetings keep members informed and engaged, while committee work channels energy into scholarship programs, youth initiatives, and veterans outreach that make a measurable difference in the Canyon, TX area.
Beyond the civic work, the lodge provides a social home for members. Dinners, holiday gatherings, and special events fill the year with occasions to connect. Members also gain access to the broader Elks National network, including the Elks National Foundation grants program, drug awareness initiatives, and the Legacy Awards scholarship competition available to members' children and grandchildren.
Membership is open to U.S. citizens 21 and older who believe in God. Prospective members are sponsored by a current Elk and voted in by the lodge, a process that keeps the membership intentional and the community tight-knit.
